Lake Trust began a focused mission five years ago to support Lake Trust team members on their financial wellbeing journey. These efforts have concentrated on building a better budget, planning for the financial future, and reducing debt.

Lake Trust provided 23 learning resources and webinars that help team members enhance their financial wellbeing. These included access to financial education resources from our curriculum library. And a partnership with Voya and GreenPath to offer a subsidized, debt-reduction program.

Emerging Leaders Program

Emerging Leaders Program

Designed to support the development of promising talent at Lake Trust, the Emerging Leaders Program is an opportunity for participants to enhance their leadership skills and business acumen. In 2024, eight Lake Trust team members were selected for the five-month program that included workshops, self-guided learning, and peer collaboration; and concluded with their capstone presentation. Empowering emerging leaders toward their career goals and future growth.

Launched in 2024, Team Member Resource Groups were designed to increase the feeling of belonging at Lake Trust by creating a community for support. Professional growth and development. And expand awareness of important challenges. These groups are open to all team members.

Mental Health Awareness Training

Members of the Management & Leadership Team received Mental Health Awareness Training in 2024. The goal of this training was to support their own mental health. And the mental wellbeing of their team. Recognizing when there may be a challenge and how to respond from a leadership perspective and connect team members to resources.

Mental Health Awareness Month

Working to reduce the stigma associated with mental health, Lake Trust highlighted mental health in May with a video series of Lake Trust leaders sharing their experiences with mental health. And Lake Trust team members had the opportunity to attend workshops, participate in stress reducing activities like organized walking groups and meditation exercises. And showed their support for mental health awareness by wearing green ribbons.
